Brief description of research activitiesI am interested in signaling dynamics in neurons and network of neurons. The overriding question is the relation between signaling at the level of molecules and neurons and function that emerges at the level of large-scale networks.

Research tools and techniquesWe employ in vitro and ex vivo preparations from the turtle. We use a wide range of electrophysiological recording techniques in our experiments.
