Brief description of research activities

1. Physiology of intracranial pressure (ICP) regulation; particularly the influence of posture and gravity on ICP; CSF circulation research and ICP measurement bio-technology. My research covers experimental and clinical research methods. The main clinical focus is on hydrocephalus and related disorders in both childrem and adults. The research acitivities are coordinated and gathered in the multidisciplinary Copenhagen CSF Study Group. External collaboration includes Danish Technical University (DTU Electro), Århus University and Cambridge Neuroscience.
Keywords: ICP, hydrocephalus
2. Clinical pediatric neurosurgery; particularly Crebellear Mutism Syndrome

Keywords

ICP, ICP telemetry, CSF physiology, hydrocephalus, pediatric hydrocephalus, cerebellar mutism

Research tools and techniques

Experimental ICP measurement
Experimental models
Human ICP measurement and regulatory studies
Prdiatric neursurgery multicentre trials
